Drop A Couple Pounds

How to drop a couple pounds: Depending upon how long you keep like up, you can drop 5 pounds or drop 10 pounds, probably not 15 pounds. I would not recommend you keep this going for much longer than that.

The high fiber - all vegetable diet.

For at least 2 days, eat nothing but vegetables and drink nothing but water. Here is an example daily menu (remember, you should only do this for 2 or 3 days)

Breakfast (EAT BREAKFAST!) - Salad with bean sprouts, celery, tomato and spinach leaves.

Lunch - A regular salad with apples (no dressing/meat)

Dinner - Sweet potato with cooked peas and corn on the side.

This foods are extremely high in fiber and will help clean out your colon and lose weight.

Back Strengthening Exercises

Easy back strengthening exercises

For the past few months, I’ve switched from using a regular computer chair to an exercise ball as my choice of seating when on the computer. If you sit properly on the exercise ball, you work out your abdominal and back muscles. Doing any kind of exercise essentially burns calories and burns the fat while strengthening your back and stomach.

You can buy these huge air filled balls at any store and fix your weak back problems without spending extra time exercising. One bit of advice, the first few days of my replacing my chair with the ball, my back was very sore. Instead of giving up and switching back to a regular chair for a break, get up and walk it off.

This is one of the best decisions I’ve made regarding getting fit and shedding a few extra pounds without using extra time. Its a back strengthening exercise without the workout.

Why you shouldn’t lose 10 pounds by fasting:

When you don’t eat for a very long time, your body responds by thinking that you have no food available to eat. Your body’s response is to go into a metabolic relapse and semi-hibernate. What this mean is that whenever you eat, your body will store it as fat instead of burning it into energy. So although you will lose pounds in those short few days, in the long run you will gain more weight that is harder to lose.

What you should do is the complete opposite, increase your metabolism. Doing this allows your body to burn off the calories you eat and not store them.

How to lose 10 pounds fast by changing how you eat:

One thing you can do to lose 10 pounds in a week, is to change the way you eat. We normally eat when we get hungry, and once we get our food, eat until we are stuffed. By now, we know the approximate time that we are hungry. Instead of waiting until you are hungry, eat 30 minutes to 1 hour earlier. This will cause you to eat less because you wont be as hungry, cut your calories, and in turn, shed you pounds.
